Sight Unscene: is San Diego based hard rock / metal group that formed in Feb. 04 with guitarists Mike Halsdorff & Tony LaMarra, and drummer John Jackson. The threesome spent the next year defining their sound and writing material for their 1st demo, while at the same time auditioning bassists and vocalists. In June 05 bassist Anthony Dedrick joined the fold and the band continued to hone the material that what would become it's 1st record. After 2 years of failed attempts to land a lead singer, Feb of 06 found Anthony taking over the vocal duties and Sight Uscene was officially ready to finally move forward. The band attacked the San Diego club scene by in 06, paying their dues at every local club in San Diego county and by the spring of 07 were headlining weekend shows at major venues. They also completed work on the debut album titled Devils in the Details which was 2 years in the making. Releasing "Devils" it to a packed house at The Jumping Turtle on Aug. 10th 2007, this CD features the songs Atrium, Until Forever, and Disarray. A video was filmed for Atrium in Feb of 08 and the band is scheduled to film a second video for the track Until Forever in May. Also in March of this year Sight Unscene became a 5 piece as Erik Robertson jumped on board to handle bass duties so Anthony can fully concentrate on singing. Sight Unscene will continue to pummel audiences with their live show in San Diego, Hollywood, and rest of SoCal this summer. Check the schedule for show dates and come us out.
